Officiating – Training and Accreditation
Level 1 Club Official
This course is specifically targeted at the official who desires to assist in the conduct of club racing and includes all of the basics into officiating at a BMX track. The course requires candidates to read an online manual, and complete a workbook online.For more information click here.
Level 2 State Official
This course is for the official who assists with open and state level calendar events. This course deals more with the technical aspects of the discipline. After completing this level you will be qualified to officiate at State/Open events. The course is conducted by State Associations. For more information please click here.
Level 3 National Official
This course is an advanced course for officials who want to officiate at National events and championships. The course is conducted in conjunction with National Championships and provides training and information on the finer points of officiating at the elite level. To sit the course the official must have had at least two years experience as an active Level 2 Official and be nominated by their State Association. The course is conducted by BMX Australia.
