About Us

Situated in the heart of Cairns is the Cairns BMX Club. Our club has been going strong for over 40 years and is now home to over 300 passionate riders who come week in, week out to ride at the track and enjoy the fantastic facilities we have on offer.

 

We have been proactively marketing the sport of BMX here in Cairns and this is showing as each week we are having more and more people visit the track to try out what the sport of BMX can offer.

We believe our venue can entertain a crowd of 3000 riders and spectators and also provide participants with the adequate areas they need to compete. This was proven when we held the Nationals and State Titles where we held record crowd numbers comfortably.

We are fortunate enough in our track surrounds to have an abundance of parking easily available to hold over 1000 vehicles and trailers per day. Spectator facilities are abundant at the track; we have viewing areas around the whole perimeter of the track. Our track has a volume of land surrounding the facility and this means that we have been able to build large spectator areas.

With a list of large successful events already under our belt we know that we are experienced in organising events of magnitude and can offer a positive experience for riders, sponsors and spectators.

Over the last few years, the club has been the host to some major BMX events such as the 2012 QLD State Championships and the 2011 Australian Titles.
